Nito and Elba Teach Argentine Tango 1999

The fifth Nito and Elba video produced by Al & Barbara Garvey was filmed in early 1999, based on workshops taught in San Francisco, Dallas, Tucson, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and New York. The material presented is all new, preceded by exercises to improve technique and concluding with an improvised dance demonstration.

Nito and Elba have helped thousands of students in the U. S. and Argentina to become more accomplished dancers, with their unique combination of verve, warmth and style. This new video is 35 minutes long; it is edited with fadeouts and titles, with English narration by Barbara Garvey. Like the previous videos in this series it is not intended as a step by step instructional video but as a reminder of techniques and combinations taught in Nito & Elba’s classes. Each sequence is shown from several different angles so that the leader’s and follower’s footwork can be clearly understood.
