This new video brings the count to 7 that we have to offer 5 are NITO AND ELBA WORKSHOPS and one is LAMPAZO TEACHING AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY.   They are all in DVD format in the NTSC system. 

Steven Brown of Dallas, Texas wrote reviews of three of the Nito and Elba videos which I will copy at the end of this letter. The fourth Nito and Elba video, NITO AND ELBA WORKSHOPS 1993 is of the same high quality as the others and shows a completely different collection of steps. The LAMPAZO video is quite different, a much older style, mostly caminando, very salon. He shows a number of milonga steps also.

On a recent trip to Buenos Aires we were able to Purchase a limited number of copies of two classic movies. One is "TANGO, OUR DANCE", a semi-documentary made in Argentina, which has a lot of good footage of dancers such as Copes & Nieves, Miguel Zotto & Milena Plebs; the film is in Spanish with English subtitles. The other is in Spanish only and was the first sound film made in Argentina, released in 1933. It is called:"TANGO", and includes a number of the greatest tango singers of all time, such as Libertad Lamarque, Tita Merello, Mercedes Simone, orchestras; Fresedo, Donato, Filiberto, Maffia, D’arienzo, and some very rare footage of Cachafaz. Each video is feature length and costs $45.
